Tom Matson is a speaker, executive coach, author and leadership expert.  A seasoned TEDx speaker, Tom presents to thousands of people each year about leadership, well-being and behavioral economics.  He challenges his listeners to become authentic leaders who are committed to developing their strengths and creating a thriving life.

Tom coached high school tennis for more than 20 years and was named the Minnesota Assistant Tennis Coach of the Year in 2011.  He has sat on the Board of Directors of the United States Tennis Association’s Northern Tennis Foundation, the National Advisory Board of Tennis and Life Camps and has taken on numerous leadership roles for the Sigma Chi Fraternity.  He is the author of "Unfrozen: A Father’s Reflections on a Brain Tumor Journey" and "Journey in the Present".

Tom earned a bachelor’s degree in communications, a master’s degree in organizational leadership and a graduate certificate in positive psychology.  He and his family live in the Twin Cities, in the beautiful Land of 10,000 Lakes
